Steve grew up in south london and built his first jamaican style sound aged 16 and played at blues dances in Brixton and Clapham, learning the business from local operators as well as the big sounds of Sir Coxsone and Duke Reid.

These days in Bristol he has regular slots at the Tube Club and the Park Bar and at other venues around the city. Playing off strictly vinyl, mostly original 45's. In the last few years he's played with great success in Germany, Holland and in Auckland and Wellington - New Zealand.

Steve is available for weddings and private parties with or without his own system and should it be wanted a vintage jamaican sound system can be arranged.
